Aletche de Meyer is a Whitby based artist specialising in Botanical Prints and Natural Pigments. Self taught and completely in awe of nature, every item she creates is a one off, unique piece. She goes out foraging for plant materials then boils or steams the pigment within the plants onto the fabric or chosen substrate. All the shapes and colours you see are natural and teased out from the plant material foraged.
