4 Black Dactylioceras Soaps - Fossil Soap Company

Four black soaps, black being a more authentic colour for Whitby fossils.

The ingredients lists are below and printed on the outer wrapper of each little box.

A box contains four black soaps wrapped in white tissue paper, sealed with a Fossil Soap Company sticker, and a card with Jo Witney's drawing of the Dactylioceras soap and on the other side some information about the Dactylioceras ammonite. The outer sleeve is printed paper.

Essential oils scent the soaps. Rosemary and lavender grow happily in the garden at Mount House in Whitby where these soaps are handmade. These plants inspired the choice of scent and a little warming cedarwood was added. In the box are four soaps, coloured black by the black clay powder and activated charcoal, which are said to be good for the skin . There is also a portion of bladderwrack seaweed powder, which adds nutrients not found in land plants and also said to be good for the skin. 

 The black glossiness of the black soaps is pleasing - and useful for washing really dirty hands after gardening as the dirt does not show on the dried black soap.

Minimum weight of each soap = 20g, diameter 5cm, one side is flat - as is the original prepared Dactylioceras ammonite.
