Our Red Clay Face Mask is deeply conditioning and nourishing for most skin types, making it a great all-rounder.

All our French Clays including Red, Pink (for sensitive skin), Green (for oily skin) work by gently extracting bacteria, oil, and other impurities from the skin, leaving your face feeling cleansed and rejuvenated.

This type of French clay is naturally anti-inflammatory and antiseptic as well as being able to help treat broken capillaries.

This is the perfect face mask if you wish to avoid any chemicals or preservatives and because this face mask is in powder form and you mix it yourself, it will almost never reach it’s best before date! Keep this clay on your bathroom shelves for any time your skin needs a little pick me up.

Illite Clay (French Red Clay)

Directions

Grab a teaspoon and measure out two spoonful’s of powder into a clean container (a bowl or Tupperware would work!) Add in an equal amount of water and mix until the clay forms a paste.

Apply with fingertips or a face mask brush if you have one and leave to dry for between 5 and 10 minutes. Rinse with warm water and a face cloth.

Top tip: Try swapping out the water with Rose Toner which is high in Vitamins A & C, for added benefits to the skin. Plus, it smells great too!
